This is a little colour sketch I did while waiting to hear back on some design work. This is based on a sketch from a short comic I hope to draw soon.

On of my FAVORITE characters on television right now.

This is a quick little study I did in my sketchbook this weekend. I was reading a post by Brian Stelfreeze about how he approaches painting flesh tone on a face. He tries to separate the face into three regions of color. I didn't want to forget what I just learned so, I needed to try it myself.

I'm pretty happy with the results.

Brains

I like drawing brains, I don't know why.

This painting is 9"x12" ACRYLIC ON CANVAS.

I've started playing with texture and used a medium on the canvas for the first time. I want to explore using this technique more, a lot of fun accidents happen when dealing with a textured canvas.

I should scan the page of my sketchbook where I came up with this thing. It was an odd progression.

The painting is called, TREE OF KNOWLEDGE.

Rejected comic

I get rejected, the blog thrives with a new one page comic. I like the panel where he gets punched, the rest of the drawing is kind of BLAH.
