A very fine attempt, I'd say. I'd dare call it a success, even. The dry brush effect is nifty. The tension between the bright colors and your tasty linework pleases me.
Nice character design!! Blogger sometime have server problem, and you can't upload images. It happens to me before ... usually after you refresh your browser (delete the cookies and such if necessary) it should be OK. But if the problem last more then 12 hours, I will e-mail them and they will fix it for you. :) They are pretty good with it too! Luck!
Loving the textures. You definitly were successful with this one. Sketches have so much life to them that I hate to loose when they are inked. This doesn't seem to have that problem. Very cool.
