Goonies Never Say DIE

It's the 25th anniversary of THE GOONIES and there's a big celebration in Astoria, OR all weekend.

I'm lucky enough to be a part of a group show in celebration of said Goonies at the LUNAR BOY GALLERY

So, check out THE GOONIES SHOW online, or come on over for the opening this Saturday evening.

This is the painting I did for the show. My first time using Acrylic Gouache. I had hoped to do a second painting, but it just wasn't in the cards.

Truffle No Shuffle
8"x10"
Acrylic Gouache on Watercolour Board

My dreams of Sloth and Chunk in a buddy cop film will have to wait...

Nice one, John! Glad to have a piece in the same show with you.

Were you at Joel's Grass Hut show, by chance?

Thanks everybody.

Hey Drake, I really liked your Mama piece as well. Nice work.

I was at Joel's show. Were you there?

Joel's a good guy.

Thanks, John!

Yeah, my wife and I were there... we were the ones with the baby attached to us. Dang, if I'd known you were there I would have introduced myself. Next time, I guess.

Joel is a cool cat indeed.

Oh man Drake, I know exactly who you were. We were even part of the same group talking. It was just before you guys left.

Small world.
